Can volunteers for a non-profit claim expenses on their tax return?

there are certain expenses incurred as the chair of a non-profit such as printing costs, travel expenses that i wonder if they can be used for a tax credit and/or deduction

Can volunteers for a non-profit claim expenses on their tax return?

Yes. However, the type of expenses incurred and the intention behind them are both important to take into consideration. If they do qualify, they would be recognized as a "gift" to the charity (for tax purposes), and therefore receiptable. Please see the following link to determine the eligibility of your expenses.
