How to remove T5013 from 2025 Return? remove

If you received a T5013, you must enter it on your return.

As per the CRA: For a partner who is an individual, amounts shown on this slip have to be reported on an income tax and benefit return.

Follow the instructions on information sheet T5013-INST, Statement of partnership Income – Instructions for Recipient, which should be included by the partnership with this information slip.

For more information, go to Line 12200 – Net partnership income (limited or non-active partners only).

  1. Identify the Source: Review the T5013 slip for the "Partnership Name" to identify which investment created it. Common sources include Flow-Through Shares (FTS), REITs, or tax shelters.
  2. Report the Income: If you are an individual, report the amounts from the T5013 slip on your T1 return (e.g., Box 110 for rental or specific boxes for limited/non-active partners).
  3. Check for Other Forms: If the slip indicates it is a tax shelter, you might only receive the T5013 slip, but if it is a rental partnership, it might be reported on Form T776.
  4. Verify via CRA My Account: Use CRA My Account to see the slip and ensure it matches the records of the issuer.

If you feel you received this slip and shouldn't have, you must contact the issuer of the slip to have it amended.
