I have income as a sole proprietor and as an employee. The deadline is different for the two, if I file together does it need to be for the first deadline?

I’m a field mechanic that runs my own service truck. I rent the service truck to the company but am an employee for the mechanical work. I’d like to put it off and avoid any extra interest.

If you believe that you will have a balance owing, you want to file by April 30th, 2024, as that is when interest starts to accrue.  If not, then yes, you can wait until June 15th, 2024.
