I mistakenly applied for a caregiver tax credit for one of my dependants. I can't figure out how to remove this credit. I've unchecked the form. How do I do this?

With the form unchecked, the credit is still appearing.

To remove the caregiver tax credit for one of your dependants, go back to the 'Claims for Dependents' section under deductions and select 'Yes' and continue. Then, press 'Enter Credit Info for Dependent' and ensure the 'Canada Caregiver Amount' box is checked so you can edit the claim. Click 'Continue', and then change the appropriate selections to 'No' so that the credit amount is updated.
