My job requires travel. I have not updated my travel insurance policy to reflect business use. Can I still apply for a deduction for insurance on my business tax return ?

It is not clear  if you are employee and receive T4  for your income, or you have a business and file T2125. If you are a T4 employee you should have a signed T2200 form your employer to claim these expenses on T777. If you are a business, add the amount on t2125.
