Shud i declar myslf as non-workg or self emplyd if I incorp compny in 2017 & all earning went to my busines accnt, bt I didn't took out any money from my business acc.

I self incorporated a numbered company in whole of 2017. All money i earned thru my IT consulting  work went to my company business account for which i already paid all taxes, but I personally did not took out any single penny from my business chequing account. .. 


But when I am filing taxes for this yr. along with my spouse, should i declare myself as non-working or self employed ?? I didnt get any t4 or dividend anything from my business account.

Taxpayer is self-employed for tax purposes, but can show his/her income as $0 because he didnot have any inflow of income in account or Tslips on record.

THanks a lot, I guess it is appropriate to indicate 'not working' since i have no personal income from the company.  Self-employed on the personal side is if I were sole proprietor ( i.e. unincorporated).
