Where do I enter tool expenses paid for tradesperson?

If you are using TurboTax Online:

1. Log in to the TurboTax portal.
2. "Continue" your tax return.
3. In the top right corner of the screen, there is a Find icon (magnifying glass icon), click on that and enter T2200 into the search bar.
4. Select T2200- Declarations of Conditions of Employment from the list of populated results, then select Go.
5. Answer Yes on the Employment Expenses page. 
6. Select the option for I received a T2200, then select Continue.
7. Select the option for other employment expenses, then select Continue.
8. Scroll to section for Tradesperson's Tools Expense, enter your amount(s), and then select Continue.

 

If you are using TurboTax Desktop:

1. During the interview part of your return, answer Yes to the question: Do you have expenses related to your employment?
2. Select the Income and Expenses section from the sidebar.
3. Select the page for Employment Expenses.
4. Continue answering the questions in sequence to enter your amount(s).
