Where do I enter US K-1 partnership income?

If you received this income through a Canadian brokerage, you should receive a T5013 (the Canadian equivalent of a K-1) which you can enter directly in TurboTax. To do so in TurboTax Online:

  1. Select Find (or the magnifying glass icon) from the top right
  2. In the Find window, type T5013 and then choose “T5013 Partnership Income” from the list. Then click “Go”.
  3. On the “T5013 Summary” page, click “Enter New T5013 for [Your Name]”.
  4. Input your information, then click “Continue” to save.
  5. On the “Foreign Income - Summary” page, click “Enter New foreign income for [Your Name]”.
  6. Input your information, then click “Continue” to save.

If you didn’t receive a T5013, you can enter the amount on the Foreign Income slip. To do so in TurboTax Online:

  1. Select Find (or the magnifying glass icon) from the top right
  2. In the Find window, type in foreign and then choose “Foreign Income” from the list. Then click “Go”.

Thank you for using TurboTax.
