Does this hold true if less than 65 years of age If you’ve started collecting CPP, you should receive any amounts you contributed back for the current tax year ?

I received Notice of Assessment disallowing the claim of overpayment made by the TurboTax software. Is this an oversite by the program

If you are under 65 years of age, you must still contribute to CPP, regardless if you are collecting it or not. The software should not have calculated any overpayment (unless you contributed over $2,593.80). If you made an override to this amount and filed your taxes that way, CRA would automatically disallow the overpayment.

(Please advise us if the software allowed this without an override)
