Entered tuition transfer from my daughter but it is not reducing my tax payable? Tips?

There are several reasons as to why the tuition transfer did not reduce your tax payable such as

• There may not have been any amount  left over after your child has claimed the tuition amount
• Tuition amount is not eligible to be claimed such as when;
  • The tuition fees were paid or reimbursed by your child's employer
  • It's a job training program
  • It's a federal program to help athletes
