    Why is pension splitting not showing reduced income for one spouse?

    The pension optimizer has recommended approx $4000 of my wife's pension go to my return. My return shows the increase but hers does not show a decrease in income. Why?

    Her net income on line 236 has been reduced by the same amount your income increased.
