In the left side menu, you will add the amounts from your T4RIF slip by going under the "Income" tab then click on "T-slips"  then "T4RIF". Make sure to click on Done or Continue at the bottom of screens to save your entries.

Then again in the menu, you will scroll down to Registered Saving Plans - select "Registered Saving Plans Profile" and check boxes for "contributions to an RRSP" and "Transfer". Proceed through the prompts and provide your contribution amount. You will then reach the "Transfer" screen and your contribution should indicate as qualifying.

Verify the offsetting income and deduction by visiting the detailed federal tax summary under the "Review" tab then "Bottom Line (tax summaries)" then "detailed tax summary".

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
