How do you put your wife's income taxes . I have paid for this STUPID program now it doesn't work. I have used it for years and now they are making it harder to use.

How do you put your wife's income taxes . I have paid for this STUPID program now it doesn't work. I have used it for years and now they are making it harder to use.

If you are filing a separate return:

Indicate that you are married in the Marital Status Profile under My Info if you are using TT Online or Introduction if you are using TT Desktop.
indicate that you are filing separate
After you enter your information and the dependant information > the software will prompt you to enter your spouse's information and income

If you are filing together:

Indicate that you are married in the Marital Status Profile under My Info if you are using TT Online or Introduction if you are using TT Desktop.
Indicate that you are filing together
You will enter your information and your souse's information together
