I am a full time doctoral student and when I log the months it automatically fills in the amount for textbooks. I have no textbooks. Do I leave the fulltime months blank?

Currently I am a full time doctoral student (12 months) but I have no textbooks to claim. However when I state how many months full time I am it automatically calculates what my textbook amount should be. Last year they asked me about it and I had to return some of my return. Do I just leave the months blank?

Thank you!

Interesting.  I am not seeing anything in the guide that states that you have to prove that you had textbooks in order to make the claim.  The only criteria seems to be that you must be eligible to claim the education amount.  As a doctoral student you are eligible.   Here is the guide.  The information of interest begins on page 30.
