I did not make an RRSP contribution for 2019. Does that mean I cannot designate an amount for my HBP repayment?
Yes, if you do not make an RRSP contribution, you cannot designate an amount to your Home Buyers Plan (HBP). The amount of your Minimum Repayment will be included in your income as RRSP Income on Line 12900 of your return.
