You may have a large amount of Federal and Provincial Tuition & Education Credits being carried forward from previous years. You can only transfer these amounts in the year they are incurred and reported on your tax return.
If you paid tuition in 2019, you may not be able to transfer any amount to your spouse, parent or grandparent if you needed to use the amounts to reduce your own tax payable.
