I received a RRSP direct transfer but it is being added as income. Where do I enter this amount so it is not added?

I received a RRSP direct transfer but it is being added as income. Where do I enter this amount so it is not added?

You should also receive an offsetting "RRSP Contribution Slip" that states it is a Designated Transfer.

You will be claiming this amount first as income, then as a deduction. If this is an "eligible retiring allowance", your RRSP Contribution Limit is not affected. The following instructions will guide you through reporting this in TurboTax:
