I want to transfer tuition tax credits from child to mothers return but turbotax automatically deducts the amount on the fathers return. How do I correct this
Does a child need to be a dependant to be able to transfer tuition to a parent? If the child is in their late 20's finishing uni?
I enter a T2202a with tuition and study months & my refund goes DOWN. Remove the T2202, it goes UP. Something is not working right this year. Education is a deduction.

Dependants credits There are 2 dependants under 6 years. I see 1 credit of $4,519 is included in the father's personal deduction. Where is the Credit for the 2nd chil?
