My daughter entered tuition from a T2202 form on her taxes, but then it didn't transfer to us. She didn't get credit for it either.

The tuition tax credit is a non-refundable tax credit that you can use to reduce the tax that you paid or may have to pay. It can’t be used to generate or increase a refund. So, if you don’t have any taxes payable, you will not get the credit. This goes for both the student and the person that the student transfers to. Did either you or your child have any amounts owing before the tuition/tuition transfer was added?
