My personal RRSP contribution seems to be reported considerable higher than what I contributed. Can you help me determine why Turbo Tax reports my RRSP so high?

You might be seeing higher RRSP Contributions for a couple of different reasons:

  1. You imported your tax information using the CRA's AutoFill My Return (AFR), and may have had "Unused Contributions" that were not claimed in previous years.
  2. You imported your tax information using the CRA's AutoFill My Return (AFR), and entered your RRSP Contributions manually.
  3. You made a keying error on an entry. You can return to the RRSP Summary and check your entries to see if an error has been made.
