Spousal RRSP- contribution amount was not deducted in spouse's taxable income
Hi there, I have a spousal RRSP and my husband is the contributor. When I entered this amount in my RRSP and hit "yes" on the question "Is this RRSP contribution for your spouse?", the amount was not deducted in in my husband's taxable income. Do I just have to enter the Spousal RSSP contribution in my husbands account and not in my account? Could you please give me details on how to enter spousal rrsp contribution? Thank you so much.

Hello,
I think you should enter under your husband's account (this way he receives the deduction) and indicate that it is spousal.
