    When I enter the pension amount I will be transferring to my spouse, why does it not show up in line 116?

    When I enter the pension amount I will be transferring to my spouse, why does it not show up in line 116?

    The amount that you transfer to your spouse will show for you as a deduction on line 210 and on your spouse's return on line 116. Your line 116 should be blank.

    The amount that you transfer to your spouse will show for you as a deduction on line 210 and on your spouse's return on line 116. Your line 116 should be blank.
