Software problems with transferring unused Tuition amount

I am having problems transferring unused portion of Tuition. TurboTax is telling me there is no amount available to transfer and the amount can only be carried foreword. The unused amount is for 2018 so why can't I transfer to a parent??

This is in the Province of Newfoundland. The federal amount cannot be transferred???

The student summary in easystep shows 0$ Amount available to carry forward for future years. When I go to forms mode Schedule 11 shows $2400 available to carry forward. Seems like a glitch in programming to me??

You may want to go revise your Student entries in Easy Step, sometimes when we toggle back and forth from Forms to Easy Step, we miss out on information and it doesn't always go in correctly.  Let me know...

There have been some changes to the Tuition Credit on a Provincial level for Ontario and Saskatchewan for 2018 and New Brunswick as of 2017. Tuition is no longer a provincial credit for students in those three (3) provinces. 

Therefore, any Provincial amounts to enter the tuition transfer will not be available, as seen in previous years.
