Unused RRSP/PRPP turbotax showsan $1806.50. My 2023 assessment shows 903, my 2023 reassessment shows 903. Is turbotax importing this value 2x due to the reassessment?

My wifes value is bang on and matches, my value is not and do not understand where the additional 903.50 is coming from.

When I create a new tax file for 2023 without importing from CRA it shows 903.50.

When I create a new tax file for 2023 and import from CRA i get 1806.50?

My wife is consistent and regardless of whether I manually enter or  import from CRA her number matches her assessment.

Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?

I am using the online version and have been for a number of years always allowing TT to import information from previous year.

It is possible that TurboTax is adding the 903 that it's getting from the CRA to the amount that it got for your return last year.

But you can change the amount of Unused RRSP/PRPP contributions carried forward from prior years in the RRSP section of the EasyStep Interview.
