Three years ago I withdrawal 20,000 of LLP. I contributed 6,000 to my rrsp. 2,000 is repayment and 4,000 is deduction; however, turbo tax is only showing 2,000.
I already asked this question and was told to change the dates. I didn't find any place to changes dates just amounts. Contribution was made between Aug. and Dec./18.
Turbo tax expert incorrectly said that the contribution was made prior to withdrawal.
Have you tried returning to the RRSP section and starting from "Get Started"?
While recreating this same situation, the only thing that would cause the remainder of your RRSP Contribution to not be shown as a deduction, was not having your RRSP Deduction entered correctly. Please start there and continue through each step until you get to that RRSP Summary page again and you should see the deduction of $4,000 being claimed.
