Why is my RRSP contribution not changing my overall balance due?

We can't reproduce the issue you've described but you can do the following:

1. From the RRSP Summary screen, delete any contributions entered.
2. Save the return. 
3. Click the RRSP tab (between the Income tab and Deductions tab near the top of the screen).
4. Proceed through the interview and re-enter your contributions.
