This would be an investment that was sold then.

Your profit or loss would be what you got for it, less what you paid.  If held, more than one year it would be long term.

To enter your Investments sold

Click on Federal Taxes

Click on Wages and Income

Click on I'll choose what I work on

Scroll down to Investments

On Stocks, Bonds, Other, click the start or update button

Hi, thank you for replying.  This is the scenario.  I owned 1% of a company that was purchased this year.  And in turn, they bought me out of that 1% equity.  Thank you for the quick reply.
