I am from Canada, living abroad. I moved in August 2020, but I worked from Jan - June 2020 in Canada. Should I file myself on Turbotax or hire a professional?

A lot of people are telling me to get a professional but I don't have a lot of assets in Canada. It seems like a waste of money. I only have a bank account, and a very small amount in my RRSP that I do not contribute to. My work gave it to me when I was working in Canada the first part of 2020 (Jan - June) as apart of my contract.

If you worked and resided in Canada for more than 183 days, you will need to file a Canadian tax return to report your income during this period. TurboTax products can help you submit your income tax return to CRA.

If you are currently residing outside Canada and will include your foreign residence address as your mailing or billing address, you can't Netfile your return, however, you can print it and mail it to CRA.
