1042-S on Canadian Tax Return

How do I report information from a 1042-S on my Canadian tax return? Is it reported on the T5 (converted from US to Canadian) or do I report under Foreign (as US with the exchange rate)? This is for dividends - income and federal tax withheld.

Depending on your status in Canada will depend on how you complete it.

Here is a great TurboTax article to help. What Is the 1042-S Form & How Do I Report It in My Canadian Tax Return?

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
