The line 34 of the Quebec Schedule G is not properly calculated. It should be the result of line 30 - line 32 but it is forced to 0. In my case, the line 30 is X and line 32 is empty. So the line 34 should be equal to line 30, but it is not. This removes the capital gain and corrupt the TP1 lines 137-139.
Version: TurboImpot Basic 2024, 10.01.11 (1013) 068G01
Btw: The capital gains from federal Schedule 3-Supp after June are not transposed to the Quebec Schedule G-Supp after June section (I will file an other bug report). But with that bug, I suspect the line 34 issue will also apply to the line 134 of schedule G.
Can you please contact our phone support so that they can verify with you and will be able to assist you and, if needed, escalate your case?
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
I think I did my part here and reported the problem in detail in a time-effective fashion. I think it is part of Intuit’s responsibility to take a look at those posts and report issues to developers. I know it is an early release of the software, and the issue is probably known. It would not be wise to take the phone, wait for a representative, explain the whole situation again, and get a case that is closed minutes later because it is or will be fixed in the next release.
Thank you. I will post here once we have an update.
