Can't open the desktop app today April 3rd. It starts, asks me to update, I click yes, and then it just closes down and won't do the update or let me skip the update and just open the program to work?

Can you please run your updated software against an example where the person has a net loss and the split capital gains from the T3 are being applied.
T936 is NOT bringing the information over. Schedule 3 is being updated but not T936
April 3 0921 hours - I have the same issue.
Start Turbotax 2024, it says an update is ready, appears to download that and Turbotax 2024 never opens.
Tried run as administrator, same outcome the application never starts.
Turbotax 2023 starts no problem.
This is quite annoying.
Uninstalling
Rebooting
Reinstalling
Start Program
Turbotax now runs.
Please explain why several of us got this issue.

Think I figured it out 🙂
Go to your Settings/ Apps and unstall from there. Then reboot your computer. Go to the link provided by the Admin and reinstall from there. It worked fine after that
