Anyone know a massage service provided by the Students Clinic of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) can be deducted from Medical Expenses in the tax return?

Does anyone know if the massage service provided by the Students Clinic of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy can be deducted from Medical Expenses in the tax return?

The school website says You will be treated by one of our Massage Therapy Diploma students under the supervisor of a Registered Mass Therapist (RMT)

This area is a bit vague~ I really hope someone knows the answer~ Thanks~~~

I just got the reply from VCMT that it is unfortunate that clients who received the massage service by any Student Clinic, such as Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) etc., cannot claim the medical expenses from the tax return.

Students give the treatment and they are not RMTs. Even though there is a clinic supervisor present who is an RMT, it does not qualify because the supervisor is not the one performing the treatment.
