Bug with T4A OAS Box 21 (GIS) generating provincial tax?

Hi,

After entering the amount from Box 21 on the T4A (OAS) slip (Guaranteed Income Supplement), TurboTax is calculating provincial tax, which results in a balance due. However, according to Canada.ca, this amount is non-taxable.

When I remove the amount from Box 21, the provincial tax balance goes to zero. Is there a way to adjust TurboTax to properly treat the GIS as non-taxable for provincial tax (Quebec resident)?

Thanks

As per the CRA, the net amount of any spouse's allowance and guaranteed income supplement (federal supplements) that you received in the tax year is shown in box 21 of your T4A(OAS) slip. You must report this amount on line 4600 of your return.

You may have to repay OAS benefits (see line 23500) if the result of the following calculation is more than $90,997: Please check out this CRA article.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
