I used Wealthsimple but did not trying submitting to CRA. Wealthsimple came up with same refund amount. But when I checked from T936 line 68140, it was blank same as with TurboTax.

So I'm at a loss. I don't know whether I should try submitting with Wealthsimple (with the incorrect "no amount" on line 68140 or not.

Did anyone who actually sucessfully submitted through Wealthsimple check to see if line 68140 matched amount in box 21 of T3's.

I had net capital loss, so maybe that's the issue. It perhaps works with a capital gain??

When I filed with WealthSimple today I did NOT get error 95365 and my line 68140 had the correct amount. Just call their Support if in doubt.. I called today just to thank them for a great product and I was only on hold for about 2-3 minutes.

Haha! Even though I Netfiled with WealthSimple just a few hours ago, I just got my notice of assessment from CRA and it was assessed as filed. Yay! My refund is on its way!

A fix for the error message #95365 in the TurboTax Desktop software will be released on April 9th. To ensure your version of the software is up to date, be sure to sign out of the TurboTax program, and accept all updates upon signing back in. Then start at the Review section of the return, and address all warning and error messages you may have before proceeding to NETFILE. FYI, I did some research tonight on WealthSimple. Although they do have an office in New York, their headquarters are in Toronto and they are a Canadian owned company. Furthermore, as per my ChatGPT prompts, it seems the majority of the software development is done in Canada and is not offshored. Do you need any more reasons to switch, my fellow Canadians?

@sarahs3 Someone posted an unverified rumor on another thread that there might be a fix released on April 9. That’s too long for me, so I switched to WealthSimple today and successfully Netfiled both me and my wife’s tax returns. And I already got back the notice of assessment. They were assessed as filed. Refunds are on their way!

That has to be an April Fools joke about the update not being ready till April 9th.  Any company that wants to remain in business would not be so delinquent in responding to user needs for something as important as filing income taxes.  I mean, it could only be a joke, right?
