code # 95365 how to fix this?

I'm seeing the exact same results as of April 2nd @ 11:00 MST...

Its very disappointing to see this issue has gone unresolved for so long given it affects so many users...  not a positive reflection on Intuit...

Message from Turbotax Canada via DM on X (Twitter):

Hello, Thank you for confirming you are using the Desktop version.

Error 95365 has been resolved. A fix for this issue will be released near the end of the next week. To ensure your version of the software is up to date, be sure to sign out of the TurboTax program, and accept all updates upon signing back in. Then start at the Review section of the return, and address all warning and error messages you may have before proceeding to NETFILE. We appreciate how patient you've been throughout this, and we do apologize for the lengthy delay. If you have any other questions or concerns for us, please don't hesitate to ask. Best regards, -SS

April 9th is OK with me, but that might be because both my wife and I own CRA money this year, rather than being in the usual position of expecting a refund....  😀

Many thanks to the fellow discussion forum members who have posted the information & screenshots about the forthcoming April 9th update.

My post in this thread from a couple of hours ago has magically disappeared. Too bad. It had a new and very detailed explanation of why some users are getting the error 95365 and others are not. CRA is partly to blame (for not including line 17599 in its validation of the rule as defined here) and TurboTax is partly to blame (for not splitting capital gains between spouses). It even had an easy workaround to get around CRA's part of the blame. I can only assume that a moderator perhaps deleted my post for some unknown reason. There was no profanity or false information in my post. I'm not going to bother retyping it in now because it was several paragraphs long and took me over 30 minutes to enter this morning. Rather, I'll just let the complaints keep adding up in this thread.

When will TurboTax issue a software  update to fix this issue? Netfile is not accepted by CRA due to error code #95365.

Is there and alternative to resolve this problem?

Oh, that's nasty! I saw your detailed post this morning. It was an excellent and very helpful explanation of both some of the TT glitches, as well as a possible CRA calculation problem.

Thank you for your detailed explanation.  I followed all the steps and was able to successfully submit my tax return through Netfile!

@blgcan Thank you for confirming you saw my post this morning! That means I'm not crazy and I actually did hit save. I have no idea why the moderators might have deleted that post. It would have been helpful to everyone here. Sigh. If I get time later, I might try to retype it in, but I fear it will get deleted again.

I saw your post also.
I was mislead at first because the CRA error message does not include reference to box 17599 which must be added to 17600.
