All was good re saving tt files in documents>turbotax>2019 UNTIL I think a tt software update sometime yesterday early afternoon. After that I was not "permitted" to save files to the default location...something about needing "Administrator rights" or the like. It was very frustrating.
Anyways digging further I checked our AV Bitdefender and I could see a "Critical Notification" ie
The application tt2019.exe attempted to change a file in a protected folder and was blocked. Protected folder:C:\Users\boxgr\Documents\TurboTax\2019
So I allowed access for tt (as I consider a trusted exe program) and all seems good so far.
And so it seems to me, given that BD and tt has worked just fine together in past years and this month for me up until yesterday I am thinking that somehow the tt update yesterday caused an issue with BD.
Anyways something to be cognizant of as I am sure many use BD as their AV of choice.
