Error code 95365

This isn't late February or even March, this is two weeks before the tax deadline .We have been waiting for over a month since this problem was first reported. Do you have any faith that Intuit which laid off thousands of people in Calgary will fix this?

I over-rode the form and mailed in my return. I will be requesting a refund and this will be my last year with this company and this product and I will be sure to tell people of my overwhelmingly NEGATIVE experience with this product and company

I guess as a follow-up to my message above... will this issue be fixed before the end of April?  

Or should we be looking at using other tax software or sending in paper returns?

We all need to know as the deadline is only two weeks away!

IT seems not to work if there are Capital losses on T3s involved.

For simplier cases, works at least for some folks.

Just got a message from TurboTax that CRA may allow late filing and waive penalties for those who are having trouble netfiling.  CRA listed a number of errors of which this will apply to.  BUT Error Code 95365 is not on the list!  So, we need a fix! 

 

See my previous note as to what needs to be fixed in the software!  TurboTax needs to fix this error, not CRA!  Please update us all if this is going to be fixed in TurboTax soon!

Error code 95365

I am filing dual spousal returns and my spouse's return keeps getting rejected with code 95365.

I have tried all the suggested solutions with out any luck.

In our case when I enter the T3 amounts for Capital Gains, the proper amounts due get populated on line 16700 on schedule 3 and on line 68140 in Chart A of Form T936 as required by the CRA. ( line 68140 shows a gain) . However when I enter Capital Gains in  my spouse's T5008 and it shows a Capital Loss that is transferred to Form T936's Chart A as negative number with a minus sign instead of in "brackets" as noted in the directions in Chart A that deletes the amounts om line 68140 which came from the T3 entries.

With out the entry on line 68140 my attempt to file gets rejected with the code 95365.

I am hoping the tecs at Turbotax can find a solution to this.

I agree the problem is a negative number in Chart A from other T-slips for Capital Losses

After several reattempts to file, I am now receiving a message that I'm locked out of my CRA account.  Which isn't true if I login through my bank partner.  What a sh.t show.

You are locked out of your Netfile account.  This happened to me, it has no impact on your MyCRA account.  Call the CRA helpdesk and ask them to reset your Netfile account.  I will get locked after 5 unsuccessful attempts.  It took about 1 hour wait to speak to the CRA, and they fixed quickly.  This is happening lots...

Here's the release notes for today's TurboTax update (April 16, 2025). I see the updates included the very mysterious and vague "Added Validations". Which validations, in particular, were added? This vague release note is very useless to people who are seeking a specific fix for Netfile error 95365. Please give MORE DETAILS in your release notes. This is about the 5th time I've made this complaint. I'm growing tired of asking.
