Sorry, why would you call CRA for a software issue with TurboTax?
I officially have the same issue and same error message.
Was hoping to have taxes done by April 2nd to qualify for the rebate.
This does not work. the problem is the summation of box 21 does not report on line 68140 of T936 Chart A. Although there may be secondary problems with lines 52 and 53, that is not the immediate problem that raised the error.
Same problem box 21 on T3 not flowing through to line 68140 Chart A T936. Cannot over ride or Net file fails. Please fix ASAP
thx
We (your weekend support tech and I) tried to do this using 100% of the value from box 21 in box 52 and later in box 53, but in each case the return was rejected by CRA. This was on my wife's tax return. The first time it tried of course it was split 50/50. All rejected. So at this time I'm reluctant to try anything else because I don't want my wife's CRA account to be frozen out. The the proposed workaround did not work for us. I suspect it had to do with splitting the T3's that I had in my name 50/50 with my wife, including a capital loss. The bottom line is that my return was accepted by CRA but my wife's got error 95365, even though the same numbers appeared in both returns (since we had split it 50/50. Could this have to do with the capital loss? Please let me know when you get this fixed or contact me for more info if needed. I'm worried I may only have one more shot at submitting.
I replied to the Turbotax moderator that having tried her solution, as well as a couple more with one of Turbotax customer tech, but with no success. Originally my wife and I were splitting the capital gains 50/50 (some T3s in her name and some in mine). My return was accepted but hers was not and got error 95365. Interestingly, we did have a capital loss as well. The schedule 3 and T936 both looked populated correctly on her return, but no dice on submitting the return. I've documented everything for the moderator in my reply to her, so we'll see.
I have that exact same scenario. 50/50 split on T3. Mine went through. Hers is hung up
I have 66/34 split on T3 between me and my spouse. When I look at the forms, row 68140 in T936 is calculated correctly for me. Zero on my spouses return. In schedule 3 of my return, turbo tax did not calculate the split, it gave me the total amount. My spouses schedule 3 is zero.
Turbotax has completely messed up the T3 capital gains calculations.
I also had a capital loss. I tried wealthsimple as some suggested, but no go. after reentering all my forms, it threw the same error on netfile submission. I've printed the return and will need to print all the receipts to submit with it I guess.
