100% agree!
And thanks for taking the action to talk to your MP.
I really don't want to mail my tax return, feel like we are back to the stone age.
The issue with Turbotax not transferring the T3 Box 21 capital gains to line 68140 on the T936 form is a software bug; nothing to do with CRA.
I have emailed the Prime Minister and Revenue Minister

@Dave_L1 This is not a TurboTax issue. The CRA has confirmed that this issue is affecting all CRA-certified tax software. TurboTax is in direct contact with senior Government of Canada officials at CRA, underscoring the urgent need for accountability and decisive action to resolve these issues for our customers and all Canadians.
To support taxpayers in navigating these CRA errors, the TurboTax Canada blog is being regularly updated with the latest information on NETFILE error codes, CRA-approved workarounds, and expected resolution dates.
As soon as the issue is resolved, we'll post an update in this thread.
Thank you for your patience and choosing TurboTax.
If you are able to get through to CRA they will reset your account so you can have another 6 trys to submit your return via netfile
This is a TurboTax Issue. The solution mentioned in your blog post does not work in this case.
I have have an entry in my T3 for box 21 and Turbotax is not transferring it to line 68140 on the T936 form.
If I go into the forms method and try to over-ride the entry, the override does not get accepted and line 68140 is still 0.00.
You have multiple people reporting this error.
Please resolve it.
Sorry but that may be not correct. It does appear to be a Turbo Tax issue.
It's been mentioned a few times in different threads. A T5008 loss is not bring properly reflected in line 68140 of form T936 which is causing the rejection from CRA.
Like others, this is holding up a refund and is incredibly frustrating.
As of April 15, 2025, code 95365 persists, even after the fix where you round to the nearest dollar to avoid the rounding error. I found this useful comment on another turbotax thread which applies to me since I have a net capital loss on Schedule 3 line 19900:
"If the total taxable capital gains on line 19900 on schedule 3 is positive, the T936 issue goes away and the capital gain on the T3 is shown correctly on line 68140 but if you are reporting net capital loss on schedule 3 line 19900 then the T936 does not pick up the amount of capital gain from the T3 slip. That is the problem in question."
no workaround will work if we have capital losses inT5008 and capital gain in T3
