How are percentage returns from bitcoin / crytocurrency lending treated?
There are services that allow for a holder to lend their bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, which generates a small percentage return to the holder in the form of like-kind cryptocurrency. How is this return treated? I.e. as interest income or zero dollar cost commodity, which will later generate capital gains when sold.
