How I make the program to recalculate while I am processing information

I need to adjust the Balance Sheet to the previous year to make up the current year. I modify the values but the system is not calculating it.  How can I get the system to recalculate with the new figures

The system should still recalculate the total fields in each section of the balance sheet even when you are modifying the previous years information.  Example if I impact Code 1000 for Cash and Deposits in the Assets section line 2599 Total assets recalculates which is taken into consideration for balancing the Schedule 100.
