How to correct TurboTax showing balance owing from 2023 that I already remitted to CRA?

You are not required to change any balance owing or any refund received by CRA. TurboTax shows your Tax Summary for your records for that particular year and you will make payments to CRA to clear any Owings.

Thank you for responding but before last year's deadline I remitted payment to CRA of the exact amount that TurboTax shows as still owing.  Before starting our 2024 return, TurboTax correctly carried forward our basic data but appears to have failed to record my payment to CRA.  How can I correct this glitch?

It will stay the same in TurboTax as it shows your Tax summary for that specific year, including your owing or a refund. As long as you have cleared it up with CRA and paid your amount owing, you are good. You are not required to change any balance owing or any refund received by CRA.
