Hi everyone,
I used TurboTax Online (Quebec) to file my taxes this year as a self-employed artist. This was my third time using TurboTax, and in the past, the results always matched what I expected when I filed with the government. However, this year, the result was very different, and the refund and payment amounts were off.
When I was filling out my taxes, the app showed that declaring all my expenses would result in a smaller refund, so I left some expenses out because it seemed better not to include them. Unfortunately, I later realized this wasn’t accurate, and now I need to refile my taxes to adjust this and include all my expenses.
Can anyone guide me on how to refile my taxes in TurboTax? Is there a specific process to follow?
Thanks in advance for your help!
First you need to make sure that you have received your notice of assessment. Follow the steps in the TurboTax article to make the necessary adjustments.
