I am getting too much on refund. need help for explaination

I have employment income of $10,000 on my T4 and pay $18,062.78 for my tution fees of which 8 months are full time and 4 months are part time. I am getting a refund of $6,211.73. How?

Hi, Have you double checked other amounts entered for your T4. That does seem like a big return amount : recommend you double check all T4 entries - tax withholding amount entered looks like is where the error may be.
