Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
Seems like a lot of people are experiencing this, including me. They're advising to uninstall and reinstall using the latest version available for download. Would be nice if they would just fix the bug in the update.

Now I can't access the turbo tax. I don't want to loose everything I've already entered. What now? Also still waiting for the updates for capital gains forms.

I have the same problem
Having same issue and have 4 returns with information in them. The solution to delete and reinstall for a bug in your update is hardly an acceptable approach.
Downloading the latest version, un-installing, rebooting, then installing the latest version works.
@tswotton The kludgy procedure of uninstalling and then reinstalling from https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download worked for me. If you are worried that uninstalling might delete your tt24 files (it didn't delete mine), then a prudent extra step would be to make a backup of those tt24 files before doing the uninstall. I hope that helps.
What does the new version correct once it is downloaded?

Who knows for sure? Look at the silly and vague release notes for today's update. Pathetic software engineering practices.
