When I enter income splitting information, my total income summary does not reduce, while my spouse’s income increases by the amount input. The total pension income between the both of us is therefore increased by the amount input. Should not my income be reduced so the net change is zero?
I have the same issue that my total income does not reduce by the amount of the eligible pension income shared with my spouse. Did you find an answer to this issue? Is it a bug in the 2019 TurboTax software?
