Licence code not working

I Just bought my Intuit turbo tax from Stapples and when i got home, the licence code was not working when I wanted to download the program to my computer

Did you buy the Online edition or a Desktop edition? 

The codes for TurboTax Online will not work with TurboTax Desktop & vice-versa. If you bought the wrong version, you can get a refund and then buy the one you need. 

If you bought TurboTax Desktop from a 3rd party retailer (ex: Costco, Staples, Walmart), please use this form to get a refund
