As of tax year 2020, TurboTax now refers to the installation key as a licence code for TurboTax CD/Download and as an activation code for TurboTax Online.
Your licence code is a sequence of 16 alphanumeric characters grouped into four segments. Before you begin any troubleshooting steps, first check to make sure you've entered the correct code for the correct product.

If after you've entered your licence code in Turbotax download and you receive the message The licence code you entered is not valid. Error code: 607, you may have entered an incorrect licence code. Try again and if you are not successful, call our TurboTax Support team at 1-888-829-8608 for further assistance.
