My online turbo tax is calculating the self-employment partnership income incorrectly. All data entered is correct and has been checked numerous times (Gross income, COGS, Business expenses), but it is producing the incorrect net income for the partnership (addition error?). My partner has the desktop Turbo Tax, and it is correctly adding everything up. My result is approx $9000 under his amount, which is affecting my refund and doesn't match my business partner's income. Does anyone else have this glitch and how to fix it?
Hi,
Please ensure that you are just entering your partners information while entering the data in the partner section and do not include your self as a partner. Also, ensure you write the correct percentage and enter full income and expenses and let the system do the calculation.
