I am surprised that I am being asked questions that I have answered the last several years of filing with turbotax. Help? What am I doing wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong! The questions are being asked because sometimes our tax situation changes year after year. Therefore the software wants to ensure you have not missed any credit or deductions you may be entitled to.  Example - last year you were not a Student, but this year you may be, or last year you did not donate, but this year you did.
